After sharing so many black and white pieces of aboriginal art, here's a big splash of colour for today
Work in progress from Fabrianne Peterson

    #springtime in #AliceSprings
Spectacular weather here right now and we cant wait to welcome those who are starting to come out of lockdown to our region again

There have been some cooler days and beautiful red centre skies these last couple of weeks. Just beautiful

We truly do see some absolutely amazing work painted at our gallery and studio.
Fabrianne Peterson has loved being given the opportunity to create new variations on her signature Damper Seed works. And to think, galleries and studios have always told her that she needs to stick to what works and not get too creative…
I love hearing her say she needs a new canvas so that she can try some new idea if hers out.

The best way to truly appreciate this artwork is by spending time in our spacious gallery and taking it all in. The subtle colour palette really is very elegant, yet very striking at the same time.
Kuddtji Kngwarreye was an absolute delight to have in the studio. He lived telling us his stories about life at Boundary Bore and his time as a stock man.
This piece is available now on our website

Look what Google made for me on my phone! Too cute.
Come on in and see what a real Polly Ngale artwork looks like at Yubu Napa Art Gallery

Damien And Yilpi Marks – Wati Niru
    #nofilter #nofilterneeded
This is Damien and Yilpi's depiction of the Seven Sisters as they travel across the land creating the landscape as we see it today. The sisters would perform ceremony to do this as they tried to escape Wati Niru's advances and hide from him. Website link in our bio. We will add this to our growing selection today

Another amazing splash of colour from our studio. This is Nellie Marks Nakamarra Tali (Sand Hills) painted in a rainbow of colour. Her art is among some if the most vibrant works to be painted at the studio. We love seeing her use of bright bold colours in this story and this piece won brighten up any space it was hanging in.
Sized at 76cm x 46cm, this will fit nicely in a small space to give any room that extra pop of colour
