Yilpi Marks Atira is from Ernabella, in the far north of South Australia. She will often paint with her husband, Damien Marks Tjangala, however her standalone works are as spectacular as the collaborations with Damien. The palette of colour used is spectacular and comes together to create a modern, contemporary depiction of Yilpi’s homeland, Aralya.
