Madeline Curley is a Pitjantjara woman from Fregon, in South Australia who has spent much of her life surrounded by a family of well-known artists. Her mother, Imitjala Curley, has built a solid following of art admirers and has been a sought after APY artist for many years.
Madeline’s artworks depict the Seven Sisters Dreaming from her fathers traditional land and are created using a mix of strong, bold colours with sweeping swirls and negative space creating a highly textured telling of this story.
