Yilpi Marks Atira is from Ernabella, in the far north of South Australia. She will often paint with her husband, Damien Marks Tjangala, however her solo works are just as spectacular as her collaborative works with Damien. Aralya is Yilpi’s traditional lands and is often depicted using a palette of bold, modern colours to create a contemporary depiction of this country.
